Briercrest College & Seminary: Aboriginal Awareness Week

The focus of AAW is to incorporate not only the history and understanding, but also the current reality of Aboriginal people and an understanding of inclusion as we progress into the future. A week of education for staff, students, faculty and guests.There will be a lineup of guest speakers and chapel times and break- out sessions throughout the week. The campus will host Tipi set-ups once again and we will be cooking bannock on a stick, goose, moose and elk for cultural education. There will be performances of all kinds and mission groups from across Canada. It is an exciting event and keep watching the Briercrest site under events for the announcement of our key note speaker and events as the date draws closer.
